Hudson Middle School has been recognized by the State of Wisconsin as a "Middle School of Excellence" for the second time in three years (2009/10 and 2011/12). AWSA (Association of Wisconsin School Administrators) recognizes only four middle schools state wide for this honor. We are proud of our students, staff, parents and the community support we have received over the years.

Hudson Middle School Principal Dan Koch Receives Principal of the Year Award: Mr. Koch is being recognized for his personal excellence as a leader of middle level learners; his collaborative leadership; guidance in curriculum, instruction and assessment; and focus on personalized learning for students. Mr. Koch has modeled unparalleled leadership capabilities throughout a period of time in which Hudson Middle School student enrollment has risen to the highest student population in one grades 6-8 school building in Wisconsin. All the while, Mr. Koch has led his teaching staff toward high expectations, resulting in improved student achievement scores in both reading and mathematics. As a result, Hudson Middle School has received the Middle School of Excellence Award twice.
